Plastic can be fantastic …
We all know we need to reduce our plastic usage. But while we’re working on that, we might as well make use of what we have, if it extends it’s life, brings a practical purpose and prevents more waste.
I love this tip from Diana:
—
“Here’s a tip that might be useful regardless of location. Plastic packaging has a multitude of uses in the garden, this year I have been cutting old water bottle into strips to use as plant labels. A Sharpie pen gives a weatherproof solution.
I know that the world would be much better without single use plastics but as there is as yet no alternative for some things this, at least, extends the usefulness of spent packaging.”
