Timely tasks for every stage of the season
The cold snap hasn’t quite loosened its grip, and the garden still feels a little frozen in time. While I’d love to be outside getting my hands in the soil, February is still a waiting game—though the early signs of spring are creeping in.
It was a particularly joyful moment when I noticed some snowdrops and crocuses poking through!
This weekend I am going to tackle the flower beds (hopefully) to remove the piles of dead leaves and debris, ready for more of the spring flowers to poke through. This is one of a few recommendations from Thompson and Morgan for getting the garden ready for spring - let’s see how many more I can take on …
